28 Assam Rifles seize liquor

28 Assam Rifles during a search operation at Bhandari-Merapanmi state highway recovered Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) being smuggled from Assam into Nagaland on January 30, hidden in two Alto Cars, MZ 01 A 7454 and NL 01 C 8924. 
In a press release, PRO-IGAR (N) Kohima stated that a total of 1050 bottles of liquor was seized. It informed that Marques and John Lotha, the alleged owners of illegal liquor have been handed over to Bhandari Police Station on January 30 along with the seized liquor. 
PRO informed that FIR against the individuals has been lodged by Assam Rifles in Bhandari Police Station.
