DIMAPUR, JUL 24 (NPN): The 2nd edition of Chümoukedima District Football Association (CDFA) League cum Rokonicha Champions Trophy is set to commence on Saturday at the Chümoukedima Football Stadium.
Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports, S. Keoshu Yimchunger, will grace the inaugural programme as the special guest, following with the opening match of the tournament to be played between Medziphema FC and Outlaws FC.
In addition to the sporting action, the organisers have announced a humanitarian initiative titled “Donation for a Cause”, wherein 100 per cent of the contributions collected during the event would be extended to victims affected by the recent landslides and floods in Mon district. To facilitate the initiative, donation boxes will be placed at all entry gates of the stadium.
