Dimapur police arrested three persons on charges of possessing drugs and fire weapons in separate cases.
Dy. Commissioner of Police (Crime) and PRO of Dimapur police informed that on April 3, one person identified as Muhibar Rahman (31) son of Makaddas Ali resident of Industrial Village, Dimapur, was apprehended by SOT Dimapur for possession of suspected “shanflower” concealed in 25 soap cases weighing around 330 grams.
In this connection, a case has been registered at West Police Station.
On April 7, PRO said that duty party of Mobile Unit 92 at Burma camp area near Police Point, Dimapur on hearing gunshot rushed towards Veterinary Colony and apprehended two persons. The two have been identified as Nilotho H. Yepthomi son of Hukato Yepthomi resident of Lhomithi colony, Dimapur and Toinalo Aye son of Kughai Aye resident of Erranipathar, Dimapur. One.45 ACP pistol and.45 ACP empty case alongwith a vehicle Ford Eco Sport (NL07CA 9719) was seized and produced at East PS.
