3-day CBCMHK fathers’ camp culminates

The three-day, father’s Camp organized by Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers Hiil, Kohima (CBCMHK) culminated on October 22, at John Government Higher Secondary School, Hostel, Viswema under Kohima district.
CBCMHK Associate Pastor, Thujoneyi Veswu shared the message on the subject, “As for me and my household we will serve the Lord” (Luke: 24 : 14).


He reminded the father of their responsibilities and urged them to be careful and ponder with all seriousness while taking care of the family. “The responsibilities assigned should be taken care with love and commitment and never treat it casually as we will all judged on our final journey,” Veswu said.


Dr. Vinotsole Hiese while highlighting on the topic, “importance of healthcare”, stressed on the need to maintain health conscious by checking and treated one’s health regularly.
She stated that regular exercise was one of the good factor to stay physically fit which indeed prolong lives and urged upon fathers to opt for physical exercise and quit smoking, consuming of alcohol and tobacco and remain a responsible asset to the society.


Day long medical check-up was provided by Dr. Vinotsole Hiese and her team where the entire campers including officials, prayer group and cooks were treated at free of cost and medicines were also provided.


As part of the outcome of the camp, a number of campers especially young fathers came forward for the new baptism, restoration of names, opting to live a new life in the family, adopting and resolved to be renewed and pursue vigour in their upcoming lives ahead. Altogether 170 campers including officials, prayer group and others attended the camp.
