3 Govt GPS, one GMS closed due to nil enrolment

In a notification, the School Education department stated that three Government Primary Schools and one Govt Middle School has been closed on account of nil/low students’ enrollment with immediate effect. The schools are– GPS Zunpha (Tseminyu), GPS Nokzaba (Mokokchung), GPS Lizuka and GMS Lizuqa both in Zunheboto district. The notification dated January 24, 2024, the department said that the decision was made during the State Level Education Committee meeting held on December 15, 2023.
