DIMAPUR: Dimapur Police have arrested three persons in connection with the alleged assault on Western Chakhesang Youth Organization (WCYO) president, Wekupe Therie, at Naga United Village on May 2.
According to police, the accused have been identified as Inoto Chishi (34), son of Pitoi Chishi of Kuhoxu village; Inato (44), son of Suhoi of Mughavi village; and Kumughaka (28), son of Mughato of Kuhoxu village. Police said the arrests were made following investigation into the incident, adding that further legal proceedings were underway.
