Around 300 NCC cadets from various schools and colleges of Kohima congregated at the prestigious G. Rio School to participate in the launch of the Government of India initiative “Start up India” campaign on January 16.
The event was aimed at celebrating the entrepreneurship spirit of the country and its youth.
The activities included live telecast of the opening ceremony by Arun Jaitley till the closing remarks made by the prime minister Narendra Modi.
The initiative was aimed at promoting the start up culture involving the young generation across the length and breadth of the country.
Post viewing the telecast the cadets organised a discussion moderated by principal of the school, Kevino Savino.
Group Commander NCC Kohima, Brig M.S Nikam extended the vote of thanks to managing director of G. Rio School, Khrienuo Moa for allowing the school premises for the event.
He encouraged the cadets to carry the central theme in their hearts and let hard work creativity and entrepreneurship make the definite change in them individually and Naga society at large.
