32nd Diezephe Angami Community day celebrated

The 32nd Diezephe Angami Community Day was celebrated with a vibrant programme, chaired by president Rokozhalie, who set the tone for the day’s proceedings.
The event began with an invocation by Kemhalhoulie, accompanied by a special song presented by women.
A highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of newly appointed G.B, Alo Soleho. Yearly and audit reports were presented by Visu Sakhrie and Lesito, offering insights into community activities and financial status.
Exhortation was delivered by Ruokuohe-U, advisor AWO and vice president of Tenyimia Women Union, who emphasized the importance of valuing identity. Additional remarks were shared by the secretary of Diezephe Council, general secretary of Dimapur District G.B Association, and chairman of Chakesang Community Diezephe, all underscoring the significance of community engagement.
Guest speaker Sebastian Zumvu, vice president CPO and chairman of Sovima village, addressed the gathering on the theme of unity and the strength it brings to the community. Alezo Kense also attended, reflecting his commitment to the community.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and benediction by Thejangulie, leaving attendees inspired and reminded of the strength found in unity to work together for the betterment of the Angami community.
