35+ MFL Grassroot Football Coaching Clinic concludes

DIMAPUR, JUN 28 (NPN)

The 35+ Mokokchung Football League (MFL) Grassroot Coaching Clinic, held at the Mojabi Futsal Turf in Salangtem Ward, culminated on June 27, with a grand success. The five-day clinic, attended by 125 young players, including 9 girls, aged between 9 to 14 years, aimed to provide technical training and footballing discipline to budding football enthusiasts.

As part of the culmination program, the 35+ MFL Under-13 Vision League was officially launched by Temjenmoa Jamir, CEO of Nagaland Minerals and Mines and owner of Longterok FC, which will be sponsoring the league.
This initiative has been a vision of the 35+ MFL organisers who thought beyond just Fellowshipping and footballing but to nurture young talents and develop a future football lovers. The league is expected to provide a platform for young players to showcase their skills in a formal setting, bridging the gap between training and competition.
Jamonger, Organising and Managing Member of 35+ MFL and co-owner of Barack FC, shared the vision of the league, emphasizing the need for discipline and balance between study and passion.
N. Akok, president of MDFA, appreciated 35+ MFL for their remarkable initiative in nurturing young talents, recognizing the league’s potential to create a positive impact on the sport. Molo Jamir, representing the parents, expressed gratitude to the organizers for providing a platform for young players to develop their skills and showcase their talents. The parents appreciated the initiative, stating it was a great opportunity for recreation and a stepping stone for aspiring young players.
The coaching clinic was led by experienced coaches, including Brando Kamson the head coach,Alumei and Doson. Tiatoshi, Rongsennungba, and Shiponglepba also played the role as assistant coaches from the 35+ MFL
The 35+ MFL expressed heartfelt gratitude to the parents for enrolling their children in the coaching clinic and for their physical presence throughout the five-day program. This initiative is a testament to the league’s commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting grassroots football development.
