37 AR organises weapon display for NCC cadets

37 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 6 Sector Assam Rifles organised a weapon and equipment display and a visit to the unit January 8-10. The display was organized for National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets attending special national integration camp (SNIC) at Patkai Christian College, Dimapur.
According to IGAR (N) PRO, during the weapon and equipment display at Patkai Christian College January 8, modern weapons, communication equipment and surveillance devices were displayed and their characteristics were explained to the cadets.
The aim of weapon display was to motivate cadets to join the Armed Forces, said PRO.
On January 9 and 10, a total of 395 cadets including NCC cadets boys and girls visited the battalion headquarters 37 Assam Rifles. They were briefed about various activities and routine of Assam Rifles unit. Cadets evinced keen interest and enthusiasm during the visit to the battalion, said PRO.
