The District Anglers Wokha, Nagaland, has postponed the 3rd Angling Fest, originally scheduled for October 11, 2025, at The Woods, Doyang Reservoir. The event has been rescheduled to November 15, 2025, due to inaccessible water levels and footing ground atthe competition site caused by exceptional monsoon weather.
In a press release by President, Ts Lotha, Secy. Event Management Thungdemo Lotha and General Secretary, A Amongo Ezung stated that the organizing committee has announced two new incentives for participants including an additional prize for the highest catch by weight and early slot allocation on November 14 to allow anglers to set up tents and pre-feed their fishing spots.
The committee regrets any inconvenience and thanks participants for their understanding and cooperation.
