Four students of Kohima Bible College were injured when the bus in which they were travelling, met with an accident, five kilometres away from Wokha on Saturday. The students were reportedly travelling to Zunheboto to attend a programme.
Wokha police informed Nagaland Post that the bus carrying 22 students went off road and rolled down when the driver was giving side to a speeding convoy of a VIP heading towards Kohima.
According to the bus driver, citizens from the nearby village- Wokha village youth, new Wokha village VDB secretary and others rescued the victims and rushed the injured to Civil hospital Wokha.
Meanwhile, local MLA, Dr. Chumben Murry visited the accident site and the injured students in the hospital besides extending them with financial aid.
