4 UGs arrested by Kohima police

On the basis of FIR lodged at Sechü (Zubza) P.S by the officials of Cease Fire Monitoring Cell, NSCN/GPRN (R), three NSCN (R) cadres and one NSCN (U) cadre were arrested by Kohima Police on May 31on the charge of stealing Rs. 1.25 lakh.
According to SDPO (South) and PRO, Kohima Police, the arrested cadres were identified as “SS captain” of NSCN (R), Nukshi Chang s/o Mongko Chang, of N/Yaongyimti, “SS sgt. major” of NSCN (R), Y. Nayang s/o  Yanchang, of Hakchang village, “SS 2nd lieutenant” of NSCN (R), B. Ngaku Chang s/o  Bamo Chang,  of Longdang village, and “RAO (Chang Region chairman) of NSCN (U),  Nasuyangbou Chang s/o  Sayou, of Polounyu Sector, Tuensang.
Apart from the cash, it is reported that, the cadres also fled away along with  one G3 rifle with 250 live rounds, one MQ rifle with 150 live rounds, one Mark-III rifle with 100 live rounds, one 410 Musket rifle with 125 live rounds, one .22 pistol with 25 live rounds and one live hand grenade (Indian made) including explosive from “Lakpong Designated Camp” Yali of NSCN (R) on May 30 before they were caught by the police.
In this connection, a criminal case has been registered against them at Sechü (Zubza) P.S Case
