40 Days Revival begins today at Life Spring Corner

Various churches and ministries in Dimapur have come together to relive, celebrate and reignite the great revival which swept across the state way back in 1976 with the 40 Days Revival to be held at Life Spring Corner, Dimapur starting from today, June 1 at 4:30 p.m.
As a prequel to the mega event, more than 40 youths had been busy distributing pamphlets about the event, street preaching and roadside evangelising for the past one month.
“The event conceptualized after a revelation from God and we are just moving along with what the Lord has instructed,” said Wabang, a member of the organizing team. Renowned speakers including a few from the time when the revival wave took place would be sharing the gospel during the 40 days event.
Praise and Worship will be led by different groups including some from Kohima.
The organizers said, 40 was a significant number in the Bible and therefore as its has already been 40 years since there was a mighty wave of revival which impacted the whole of Nagaland in one way or the other, it was time for the people of God to shine again and be a ray of hope and an exemplary state for the whole country.
They expressed hope that there would be a great wave of revival again as it was time for changes especially in different fields like the church, family, art and entertainment, government, education, business and media which were referred to as ‘The Seven Mountains’.
Some of the organizers also expressed hope that although the people were frustrated with all the corrupted systems that are going on, the good seeds sown by some people would definitely bring positive changes for the next generations and there would definitely be a change in the system.
The organizers have given an open invitation to everyone to come and be a part of the event irrespective of church denominations or age groups.
