The 43rd session of the Tikhir Baptist Biti Atükhienti, the Tikhir Baptist Churches Association, was held at Shamator village from December 6 to 8, under the theme “Unity through the bond of peace.”
Resource persons of the session were women pastor, Tikhir Baptist Church Kiphire Town, Rangchopila, pastor, Tikhir Baptist Church Tuensang Town, T. Chuba and pastor, Tikhir Baptist Church Kohima, Y.T. Tsinthong. Short speeches were delivered by DC Shamator, president TTC, president TSU, and TWA.
Earlier, welcome address was delivered by chairman of the host village council, L. Thongsangkiu. A special prayer for Shamator village was led by executive secretary, TBBA, Rev. M. Shiuto and vote of thanks by joint secretary, TBBA Chanato T. The event featured a special performance by guest artist Elate Fusion Band and comedians Totilen and Kiumong.
