4th biennial session of NEICC at Jalukie

The 4th Biennial Session, marking the 80th session of the North East India Christian Council (NEICC), commenced at the Jalukie Town Local Baptist Church on Friday.


Over 300 delegates and representatives from more than five conventions/synods and para-church organizations across Northeast India are attending the three-day conference hosted by Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) and Zeme Baptist Church Council.


On Friday, the event was chaired by Rev. R. Lalnunzira, while Rev Dr. Ramengliana, general secretary NEICC, delivered the welcome address. Rev. Dr. Rampaukupoing and Rev. Dr. Mongzeung Mpom also short speeches.


Rev. DS. Roy Muktieh, secretary of NEICCYA, read the scripture and choirs of Jalukie B Baptist Church and Jalukie Pastorate Choir (CHT) presented special numbers.


In his inaugural message, Rev. SR. Dkhar, vice president NEICC, stressed the theme “Stronger Together,” inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:9. He highlighted the contemporary relevance of King Solomon’s wisdom to daily life. The inaugural session concluded with performances by choirs of Peren Town Baptist Church choir and Jalukie Town Local Baptist Church.
