DIMAPUR, JUL 28 (NPN): The Dimapur District Cricket Association (DDCA), has announced the commencement of the 4th edition of the Lt. I. Pihoto Awomi Memorial Inter Club Trophy. The tournament is scheduled to begin on August 31, at the Sovima Cricket Ground (SCG), Chümoukedima, Nagaland.
In a press release issued by DDCA joint secretary, Hinoto Chishi stated that a total of 10 clubs from Dimapur will compete for the coveted title. The opening day will feature two matches: Victoria CC taking on ESA Legends at 9:00 am, followed by Valor CC facing Whiskers CC at 1:00 pm. The fixtures will continue daily until September 4, with matches scheduled in both morning and afternoon sessions.
The semi-finals are slated for September 5, where the Group A winner will face the Group B runners-up in the morning, while the Group B winner will clash with the Group A runners-up in the afternoon. The grand finale will be held on September 6 at 9:00 am at SCG Ground.
