4th NLA tournament 2026 held in Kohima

DIMAPUR, Jul 27 (NPN): The 4th edition of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) tournament 2026 was held on July 25 at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Assembly Complex, Kohima. The tournament was organized by the Assembly Aces Club, Kohima.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation across various disciplines, including Badminton, Table Tennis, Carrom and Ludo.
The event was graced by special officer to the chief minister of Nagaland Neibalie Rio, as the special guest.
In his address, Rio encouraged the participants to uphold the values of fair play, discipline and excellence. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining good health, discipline and fostering community spirit through sports.
The tournament commenced with an exhibition badminton match led by the special guest, marking the official opening of the event.
The exhibition match added excitement and set a positive tone for the day’s competitions.
Throughout the tournament, participants showcased impressive performances, drawing enthusiastic support from spectators, officials and invited guests.
Meanwhile, the organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants, officials, volunteers and supporters whose cooperation and dedication contributed to the successful conduct of the tournament. They also congratulated all the winners and appreciated every participant for making the event a grand success.
