Based on specific intelligence, 5 Assam Rifles (AR) reportedly apprehended one GPRN/NSCN cadre along with one .32 pistol with magazine and eight live rounds December 26, at BOC South point, Zunheboto. The cadre has been identified as “cpl” Ibeto Sema, resident of Satakha village, Zunheboto district. The cadre was moving from Ghukiye Camp to Satakha, PRO said, adding that the apprehend individual was was later handed over to Zunheboto police station.
