5 Dmu villages achieve 100% vax

Department of Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) has informed that five villages namely Hoito, Singrijan, Khopanala, Tir, and Molvom have achieved 100% COVID-19 first dose vaccination.

In a press release the department informed that it endeavours to fully vaccinate all eligible population under Dimapur District and through the cooperation of the community leaders 100% could be achieved.

DPO, UIP/RCH Dr. Rebecca lauded village authorities for their active participation and support and added that such achievement not only protects the communities but also encourages others to come forward and get vaccinated.

She expressed hope that more villages and wards in Dimapur district would be motivated and come forward for vaccination.

Total number of eligible population vaccinated with first dose of COVID19 vaccination are – 256 in Hoito village, 825 in Singrijan village, 519 in Khopanala, 82 in Tir village, and 605 in Molvom village.
