5 km run promotes heart health

DIMAPUR, SEP 30 (NPN): A 5 km run aimed at promoting heart health and encouraging a healthier lifestyle was held in Dimapur on September 29 as part of the World Heart Day initiative.
The event, “Run for a Healthy Heart, Run for a Healthier Life- Dimapur Edition,” was organised in collaboration with Health City Hospital, Dr. Bhaba Das Foundation, Patient Care, Lions Club of Dimapur, and Lions Club of Dimapur Blue Venda.
The run began from the Lions Club at 5 a.m. and covered City Tower, Holy Cross Junction, and Nepali Basti before returning to the starting point.
The initiative sought to create awareness on the importance of heart health and physical activity while encouraging the community to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle. The event was open to participants free of charge, with podium finishers receiving recognition.
