DIMAPUR, JUN 23 (NPN)

In a significant development within the Nagaland BJP unit, at least five senior party leaders have tendered their resignations with effect from Monday, citing “personal grounds”.
In a joint resignation letter dated June 23, 2025, addressed to the state BJP president, the leaders– former state BJP general secretary and spokesperson K. The leaders expressed gratitude to the party for the decades of opportunities and experiences granted to them, having served in various key capacities at both the district and state levels under different party presidents.
“It has been a great honour and privilege for us to work for the BJP party Nagaland under several talented and dedicated leaders both at the state and national levels,” they stated in the letter.
They also acknowledged the BJP’s role in grooming them into fine political workers, and for all the many valuable lessons and experiences they had gained.
They wished the party a continued success in Nagaland in the days to come.
