Within a span of nearly eight months, Dimapur Police Anti-Vehicle Theft Squad (AVTS) was able to seize 54 different categories of vehicles. In a press note, Addl. DCP & PRO said that the squad seized 26 four wheelers and 28 two wheelers. PRO said “the vehicles were seized after having found reported stolen/with fake registrations/ tampered vehicle details, etc”. Meanwhile, PRO has listed out the make, type and details of the seized vehicles in order allow the respective vehicle owners identify and to report to AVTS for further actions.
