6 sub-centres upgraded in Dimapur

Six sub-centres under Dimapur district have been upgraded and strengthened as Health & Wellness Centres (HWCs) to provide preventive, promotive, rehabilitative and curative care for an expanded range of services encompassing reproductive and child health services, communicable diseases, non-communicable diseases, palliative care and elderly care, oral health, ENT care, and basic emergency care. 

A press release from deputy CMO, Dimapur, Dr. Antoly Suu stated that, in Dimapur district, six sub-centres have been identified and selected as part of Ayushman Bharat programme and the rest of the sub-centres will be inducted in a phase-wise manner. 
The six SCs upgraded to H&WCs are Hukai, Zukihe, Pimla, Doyapur, Deizephe and Hovishe. 
So far, five H&WCs have been launched and operationalized since May 2019. Himato I. Zhimomi, principal secretary, Health & family Welfare Nagaland, Kohima launched Hovishe H&WC, while Dr. K. Vikato Kinimi, chief medical officer Dimapur launched Hukai H&WC and Zukihe H& WC. Dr. Antoly Suu, deputy chief medical officer Dimapur launched Pimla H&WC, Deizephe H&WC. Doyapur H&WC will be launched soon.
