Sixty students from Tetso College, St. Joseph’s Autonomous College, Eastern Christian College, and C-Edge College, who completed the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) program were awarded certificates at the certification distribution ceremony held on December 16, 2024.
The programme was an initiative of Startup Nagaland, Department of Industries & Commerce and implemented by Educentre School of Business.
P. Tokugha, director of Industries & Commerce, who graced the occasion, informed the students that entrepreneurship has become a good career option, and emphasized on the importance of fostering innovation and become job creators.
He advised students to strive for excellence, and not to follow success, rather success will follow them when doing the things right. He also highlighted the department’s efforts to support startups.
Meanwhile, Educentre extended gratitude to the Department of Industries & Commerce and Startup Nagaland for their steadfast support in strengthening Nagaland’s startup ecosystem. The initiative seeks to inspire and empower young minds to contribute to a thriving entrepreneurial future for the region.
