The 6th Nagaland State Sepaktakraw (Men & Women) Open Championship 2025 concluded on Thursday with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit, showcasing the growing popularity of the sport in the state.
In the men’s category, Spikers Club Kohima emerged as champions after a thrilling final encounter. SAI STC Dimapur secured the second position, while Thunders Club finished third.
In the women’s category, Dimapur District Sepaktakraw Association (DIDSTA) clinched the championship title. State Sports Girls Academy Dimapur took the runner-up position, and Kohima District Sepaktakraw Association (KODSTA) secured third place.
The winning teams were awarded trophies, certificates and cash prizes in recognition of their achievements.
Organized by the Nagaland Sepaktakraw Association (NASTA), the championship brought together teams from across the state, reflecting both competitive excellence and community spirit. NASTA extended its congratulations to all the winning teams and participants for their dedication and sportsmanship.
