7 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised an awareness campaign on HIV/AIDS and importance of wildlife conservation at Agape School, Kiphire on August 26. According to PRO, HQ IGAR (North) report, a lecture on HIV/AIDS, its repercussions on society and individuals and preventive measures was conducted. Youths were also educated on conservation of wildlife species of migratory bird Amur Falcon for maintenance of diverse eco system. Leaflets were also distributed to the locals of Kiphire town. A total of 60 students participated in the campaign.
