7 associations seek Govenor’s intervention

Seven associations have written to the Governor, seeking his intervention into the matter of requisitioning vacant posts, in various departments, filed through contractual basis (Class I, Class II, Class III) to NPSC for early advertisement.
The seven associations consists of– Association of Electronics and Communication Engineering Nagaland, Association of Mechanical Engineers Nagaland, Agricultural Students Association of Nagaland, Civil Engineers Association of Nagaland, Forestry Graduates Association of Nagaland, Graduate Electrical Engineers Association of Nagaland and Horticulture Graduates of Nagaland.
Referring to an appeal letter sent to 16 departments on Nov 11, and a letter from NPSC secretary on March 2017, to AHoDs requesting requisitioning of vacant posts to commence recruitment processes, they pointed out that CTSE under NPSC was being delayed for years due to delay in requisition of posts from the departments.
