7 political leaders join BJP in Delhi

Seven prominent leaders from Nagaland formally joined the BJP at the party’s national headquarters in New Delhi on Monday.
The delegation, led by Nagaland State BJP president Benjamin Yepthomi, was welcomed into the party fold by BJP national general secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santosh and BJP national secretary and Nagaland in-charge Anil K. Antony.
Among those who joined the BJP include: former minister Doshehe Yepthomi (Atoizu A/C), former MLA Khekaho Assumi (Akuluto A/C), retired DIG Richard Yimto (Shamator district), former Sumi Hoho and NTC president Toniho Yepthomi (Zunheboto district), former ENPO president Tsapikiu Sangtam (Kiphire-Pungro A/C), Wangka Konyak (Aboi A/C)—a former RPI candidate and current Congress state secretary and ex-DMC candidate Toshi Walling.
According to State BJP media cell, the delegation is scheduled to meet BJP national president J.P. Nadda at the party HQ in Delhi.
