78 Bn CRPF conducts free medical camp at Sechu-Zubza

A free medical camp was organised by 78 Bn Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in collaboration with PHC Sechu-Zubza, Kohima, for residents of Sechu Zubza village on July 30.
The camp saw participation from over 80 villagers.
The initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare services and raise health awareness among the local community. Services offered included free consultations, general health check-ups, blood investigations, ECGs, and distribution of medicines.
According to the organizers, the event was part of ongoing efforts to address healthcare gaps in rural areas and to ensure accessible medical care for underserved populations. Villagers expressed their appreciation, stating that such camps are vital in places with limited health infrastructure.
Dr. Sangita Mary Rajah, CMO/SG of 78 Bn CRPF, noted that the battalion remains committed to reaching out to far-flung communities. More such camps are planned to continue supporting rural healthcare needs.
