With an aim to develop cordial relations between the CRPF and local people, 78th Bn CRPF, Zubza organized a Civic Action Programme where public toilet and bathrooms were inaugurated. The public conveniences were constructed by 78 Bn CRPF under their Civic Action Programme, for the villagers. DIGP (OPS) CRPF Kohima, Sarbjit Singh graced the occasion as the chief guest at Sechü Zubza village under Kohima district on Saturday.
Commandant 78 Bn CRPF Kohima Neeraj Yadav, in his address, expressed immense pleasure and joy at organizing the Civic Action Programme as per the villager’s request. The public conveniences have four toilets with septic tanks, bathroom and includes urinal pots, soak pits and water tanks.
These were constructed at Liezha–A colony near SBI and Kherüthi–A colony and made available to the villagers. Yadav explained that the 78 Bn CRPF organizes such programmes every year to address grievances and to provide very basic amenities to nearby villagers.
The commandant, in his speech, appealed to the DIGP CRPF Kohima for more funds so that more such civic action programmes could be implemented for the welfare of the local people.
