8 trade unions lose registration

DIMAPUR, OCT 9 (NPN): State Labour Department has cancelled the registration of eight trade unions for default, with immediate effect from the notification date. The order follows earlier notifications issued on June 19 and August 4, 2026. The unions are Dimapur Motor Workers Trade Union, Dimapur Auto Rickshaw Owners Union, Dimapur Land Transport Workers Union, East Dimapur Purana Bazar Labour Trade Union, Dimapur Taxi Drivers Union, Dimapur Cycle Rickshaw Pullers Union, Dimapur Truck Drivers Union and Kohima District Land Transport Trade Union, Phesama.
