90.8 Hills FM and Dimapur Forest Division sign MoU for partnership

DIMAPUR: The Dimapur Forest Division and 90.8 Hills FM, “The Voice of Change” have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to continue their collaborative efforts in promoting public awareness on forests, wildlife and environmental conservation. The MoU was signed on August 20 at the office of the Dimapur Forest Division, marking the beginning of a renewed six-month partnership that will run from August 2026 to January 2027.
Through this partnership, both organizations will work together to strengthen communication on forest and wildlife conservation, biodiversity and environmental awareness.
The collaboration will utilize community radio and digital platforms to share information and conservation messages with the wider public, ensuring that environmental issues are brought closer to communities in accessible and engaging ways.
The renewed agreement builds on the existing collaboration between the Forest Division and 90.8 Hills FM, with both sides committed to exploring meaningful initiatives that highlight the importance of conservation.
Representatives from both organizations attended the signing, reaffirming their dedication to advancing environmental communication and outreach.
90.8 Hills FM, Nagaland’s first community radio station, has been a pioneer in using radio and digital platforms to inform, engage and connect communities on issues of public interest.
With this partnership, the station continues to play a vital role in amplifying conservation messages and fostering community participation in safeguarding the environment.
