Thousands of people gathered at Kohima Local ground to attend the ongoing crusade with mission director, Northeast India, CRC, Rev. Neivotso Neikha as the speaker.
In his sermon Rev. Neivotso said that everyone needed a transformation today and that “we” must not look to the idols of the world but to Jesus Christ.
Citing from James 4:4 that friendship with the world makes one the enemy of God and that because of sin “we” become the enemy of God, he called upon the congregation that whoever was in friendship with the world needed deliverance and to resist the devil.
Stressing on the need to seek God’s kingdom and righteousness, he called upon everyone to confess their sins and to make oneself clean to receive God.
Rev. Neivotso said that the truth would be known and it would set us free, and reminded that the truth was the gospel and the gospel was Jesus who had died for us and rose again.
Hundreds of believers also responded to the altar call for salvation, deliverance from bondages and healing.
Earlier, Gloria Patri led the congregation into praise and worship. The team will also lead the praise and worship on March 4.
