A team from Chief Medical Office, Tuensang, led by Epidemilogist, DSU, IDSP, Dr. John Shupao, along with BPM and BAM visited Chessore PHC on August 19. During the visit, the team assessed the prevailing health condition of the block and treated a total of 149 patients. Further, on the request of the chairman, Shamator village, the team visited Shamator village along with the staff of CHC Shamator on August 31. The team conducted health check up for the villagers and treated 202 patients. During the visit, it was observed that Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ARI) was high among children between 5 to 15 years age in both the places. Free medicines were given to the patients and IEC materials were also distributed to the villagers for awareness.
