S&WC department bids farewell to outgoing staff

Department of Soil & Water Conservation organized a farewell programme for outgoing joint director, Tashi Rengma and head driver, Mezhulhou on August 31 at the directorate’s conference hall.
Director, Soil & Water Conservation, Peter K. Rengma thanked both the outgoing staff for the services they had rendered and also challenged everyone present, to be self evaluative, sincere and dedicated in their own work places. Additional director, Imkongneken Ao stated that he put a final seal for all the good works that Tashi has done for the department and attributed her as a sincere, dedicated and efficient officer. He also acknowledged Mezhulhou for the way he had served many officers with respect and honour. Deputy director, president of Association of Soil & Water Conservation (ASWO) Viliehu Nguzhu described Tashi Rengma as a strong pillar of the association. 
Meanwhile, Tashi Rengma thanked God for enabling her to complete her service in good health. She also thanked the staff for treating her as a mother and a sister and appreciated the unity of the department. Mezhulhou also thanked the officers and staff for treating him as a friend and for helping him.
The programme was chaired by Hevikhe Sema, project director who also gave the welcome address. Registrar, Tebul delivered the reminiscence and vote of thanks by joint director, Temjen Longkumer.
