CANSSEA urges for timely implementation of 7th ROP

Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees’ Association (CANSSEA) has appealed to the state government for timely implementation of the 7th ROP in the state for all the state employees in Nagaland with same and appropriate benefits with the effective date as that of the Central Government employees.
In a press release, CANSSEA president S.Takatuba Aier said a representation was submitted to the government on August 30, 2016, when various state services associations led by CANSSEA met the chief secretary at his office chamber.
Aier said the representation was the outcome of the joint co-ordination meeting held on August 11, 2016 in the conference hall CANSSEA.
He said CANSSEA has been reminding the state government since November 2014 for timely implementation of the 7th ROP, adding that the latest representation was the fourth representation so far submitted to the government in this regard.
Through the representation, Aier said various state services associations urged the state government to intimate CANSSEA on the action taken in this regard within the month of September 2016. The chief secretary assured to look into the matter, he added.
