BJP 17th Chizami mandal adopts resolution

BJP 17th Chizami Mandal has resolved to demand for impeachment of NDPP president Phek division alleging that he was responsible for the merger of NPP to NPF, which violated the norms of NDPP-BJP pre-poll alliance.
The resolution was adopted at the meeting with all village units held on March 23 at the Mini Tourist Lodge, Pfütsero, attended by 75 party officials from various Morcha, stated a press release issued by BJP 17th Chizami Mandal president, Vetshe Tsüzüh and general secretary, Khrope Tsuhuh.
The mandal also resolved to demand justification/clarification from Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) & Chakhesang Clean Election Movement (CCEM) for failing to implement the 18th point resolution passed by the general public held at CBCC Convention Hall on June 27, 2017.
It demanded that the Chakhesang Baptist Church Council to identify the Church leaders, who were involved in the election process and accordingly expelled them for five years as per the CCEM resolution in order to save the integrity and sanctity of the church.
The house also resolved to seek justification from the executive secretary, Chakhesang Baptist Church Council as to why “church leaders were involved in the election campaign and even used the church pulpit to campaign against particular party which is directly against the point no.8 of CCEM resolution”.
Failing to justify satisfactorily, the mandal cautioned that “it will not participate in any manner of church activities, be it donation/ contribution and move non-co-operation movement”. The house also demanded Chakhesang Baptist Church Council that if it can proved that “BJP is communal, anti-Christian and killer”, then the membership of BJP supporter be strike off from the respective churches.
Further, the house resolved to pressurize the administration to immediately book the culprit involved in the “hate poster campaigns” on February 19, 2018.
