Deputy speaker calls for unity and constructive criticism

The newly elected deputy speaker of the NLA, Zhaleo Rio, who visited his party office at Medziphema on March 28, said that it was time for positive action and constructive encouragement from all corners in order to bring about change in the state. 
A press release from NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II A/C press secretary, Thejangukho Yalietsu stated that, while addressing party leaders, Rio also briefed them on the different stages in forming the PDA government.
While thanking all rank and file of the party and the public for their commitment in his favour, Rio, who is the MLA of 5 Ghaspani-II A/C, acknowledged all the MLAs who have been instrumental towards the installation of the PDA government in Nagaland. 
He stated that some candidates may be rescuers but he considered himself a “saviour” who had sacrificed for the welfare of the government, representing the people of 5 Ghaspani-II A/C. He pledged to give his utmost for the constituency as also the Nagas while requesting for people’s prayers and support. 
He urged people to leave aside all differences to build “Naganess” which could be possible through unity, constructive criticism and consideration of characteristic aspects that forge people together in the society.
Miathou Krose, chairman, NHHDC, who also addressed the gathering, expressed confidence that he would be able to deliver the goods with constant support and guidance from the public leaders, government officials and Zhaleo Rio.
