MALT undertakes road repairs at Mangkolemba

Mangkolemba Ao Lanur Telongjem (MALT), on March 24, undertook the task of repairing the much neglected approach road to the cemetery at Mangkolemba, stretching around 400 meters from Mangkolemba to Longnak road. A press release by MALT president, Tia Jamir and general secretary, Sentimeren Imchen stated that the said road becomes muddy and inaccessible for vehicles during the monsoon season. Around 150 MALT volunteers dug up side drains and laid stones along the road as part of their annual social work. The volunteers also cleaned the cemetery by cutting and trimming trees and shrubs. MALT also expressed its gratitude to individuals and groups for their help and donations during the social work.
