Government reconstitutes SAC

Government of Nagaland has reconstituted the State Advisory Committee (SAC) with minister/parliamentary secretary/advisor, to the government of Nagaland, Labour Department, as the chairperson with immediate effect. According to a DIPR report, commissioner and secretary /secretary L&E department will be the member secretary while Minister Planning & Coordination; Minister/Advisor (DUDA); Joint Secretary, Labour Department; Labour Commissioner, Labour Department; John Kath (Employers’ Representative); NtsenthungTungoe (Employers’ Representative); Sunep Jamir (Workers’ Representative); KhrievinuoMetha (Workers’ Representative); Er. Richard Belho (Representing Architect Engineers) and the Branch Manager, LICI, Kohima will be members. The report stated that other than commissioner and secretary /secretary L&E department, Joint Secretary, Labour Department; Labour Commissioner, Labour Department, all members “shall hold as such for a period of three years from the date of this notification.”
