NDPP 34 Aghunato A/C organised a “thanksgiving programme” on March 28 at Aghunato town for the success in the recently conducted general assembly elections.
A DIPR report stated that the programme was attended by advisor Food and Civil Supplies, Legal Metrology & consumer Protection and NSDMA, Pukhayi Sumi, MLA representing 34 Aghunato A/C.
In his greeting, Pukhayi thanked God for His blessings. He also thanked the people for their “sacrifices”, cooperation, support and for giving him another opportunity to serve the people.
The MLA also briefed the gathering about his vision to develop Aghunato assembly constituency adding that a general meeting would be organised soon to deliberate on developmental issues. He then assured them that all the villages under Aghunato Sub-Division would receive government assistance.
In a short speech, the NDPP convenor of 34 Aghunato A/C, Hokugha Yeptho, thanked electors for extending their support to the MLA and the NDPP party.
Other who spoke in the programme included Ghokiho Zhimo GB Khewoto Village, Vikheho Yeptho GB Aquba Village, Kahuto GB Lizuto Village, Kakheto GB Thokihimi, Toniho Yeptho, NTC president .
The programme was chaired by NDPP working president, Akato Yeptho; invocation said by Catholic Church Aghunato Pastor, Pastor Hetoshe (James), a special number presented by Alice & co. and vote of thanks was given by NDPP 34 Aghunato A/C president, Hoito Achumi.
