Assam Rifles troops of Jalukie battalion, under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North), joined the local populace to celebrate Good Friday at Songhlu village, Peren on March 30.
According to PRO, Assam Rifles troops were invited to the event by the church and local villagers.
Assam Rifles troops attended the programme and arranged for refreshments for all attendees on the occasion.
