Zeliangrong Inter-City Presidents’ Forum (ZICPF)– comprising of the cities Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Delhi, Pune and Chandigarh– has affirmed that it stood for the united Zeliangrong and fully supported the call for a consultative meeting on April 3, 2018 at the Zeliangrong Baudi Hall, Jalukie Town, Peren. In a press release, ZICPF appealed to all the Zeliangrong frontal organizations, social leaders, intellectuals, churches, religious leaders, village authorities and elders to extend thier full cooperation and participate in the upcoming consultative meeting called by the apex Zeliangrong Baudi. The forum stated that the proposed meeting would discuss the recognition of Zeliangrong people into separate tribes by the NSCN (I-M) during the Tatar Hoho Assembly at the Hebron Camp “without prior consultation of the Zeliangrong Apex Organizations.”
