Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in-charge of Home and National Highways, Y. Patton, Minister Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Metsubo Jamir and the state BJYM have sent their condolences to the bereaved family of Yashitsungba Ao..
Y. Patton: Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in-charge of Home and National Highways, Y. Patton has expressed grief and sadness at the demise of Yashitsungba Ao. A condolence note from Patton said the departed had been a businessman and a philanthropist and a simple, honest, hardworking man known for his noble and charitable deeds. His contributions for the welfare of the Ao community and the state will be remembered forever, Patton stated. The Deputy Chief Minister added that the Ao community in particular and the Nagas in general had lost a great human being whose absence had created a vacuum that would be difficult to fill.
On behalf of the government and the people of Nagaland, Patton offered his deepest condolences to the bereaved and conveyed his prayers for them to have courage and fortitude to bear the loss and for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
Metsubo Jamir: Minister Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Metsubo Jamir has mourned the demise of Yashitsungba Ao. The condolence note said that in his demise “Nagaland has lost one of its greatest treasures.”
The minister said late Yashitsungba’s life had exemplified how a single individual could change an entire society through dedication, foresight and hard work. According to Metsubo, the departed had single-handedly uplifted the quality of life of thousands of Nagas, through his contributions to the private health sector in particular. In spite of his great success, he had been a humble individual, grounded to his roots till the end, he added. The minister expressed hope that future generations would take his legacy forward by inculcating his values into our lives.
“I offer my sincerest condolences to his bereaved children, grand children and other family members…” the note said, and conveyed prayers for God Almighty to give the bereaved strength and comfort during this difficult time.
BJYM: State BJYM president, K. Vikuho Dominic and party members have expressed sadness over the demise of Yashitsungba Ao.
In a condolence message on behalf of the party, BJYM state general secretary, Ankit Jain said the party extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and conveyed prayers for the departed soul to rest in peace and to grant courage & strength to the his family members.
