Jalukie personnel under the command of UBSI. Neizeu Yhome on August 7 conducted surprise checking of vehicles and seized 25 cases of assorted IMFL from a maruti gypsy (MN-05-0686) and arrested two persons namely Paisui and Dimos Neme.
According to SP, Peren, a case has been registered against both accused for further investigation.
In another incident, the same team intercepted a maruti gypsy (NL-07-4833) near Mhainamtsi on August 14 and seized 35- cases of assorted IMFL being illegally transported to Jalukie.
Peren police informed that a case has been registered and further investigation was under progress.
