ENPUK, CUK condemns rape incident

Eastern Nagaland people’s Union Kohima (ENPUK) strongly condemns the alleged rape of a minor girl on August 11 at Kohima. The union expressed its outrage against the barbaric and horrific act and urged upon all right thinking citizens to condemn such inhuman act. The union appealed the law enforcing authority to deliver justice to the victim without delay and to award stringent action against the culprit who should not be granted bail at any cost.
CUK: Chang Union Kohima (CUK) in a condemnation note appended by CUK president Tiameren Chang termed that such heinous crimes cannot be tolerated in a civilized society. CUK also urged upon the law enforcing authority to award befitting punishment as per the law of the land.
