PTCSU urges DoSE to deploy teachers

Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (PTCSU) has asked the Department of School Education (DoSE) to deploy teachers, saying that GHSS Phek was facing acute shortage teachers besides producing one of the best academic results annually. 
In a letter addressed to the director school education, president PTCSU, Thuputo Venuh and education secretary Vetsozo informed that there was shortage of seven graduate teachers in the high school section and two post graduate teachers in secondary section who were deputed/promoted/transferred out of the GHSS Phek since 2004.
In this regard, the union appealed the department to take up the matter on priority basis and do the needful without delay. Further, the union cautioned that in the event of inaction, it would be compelled to resort to democratic means.
