Phek Town Youth Society (PTYS) observed its 5th foundation day at PTC hall on August 16, wherein each department highlighted their achievement and the loopholes during the year 2015-16.
A press note by PTYS publicity and information secretary, Nuyi Hoshi stated that PTYS had further resolved to take up pending works with the same spirit of unity and coordination. It also stated that clean-green Phek highlighted the problems faced by the team while performing the duties in collecting the garbage at Phek town. In this, the team requested the members present to give better coordination toward the implications of the adopted resolution. It is also decided to conduct social work on August 17.
The programme also discussed the upcoming inter colony tournament scheduled for October 10 to 15, whereby various heads were formed for the smooth success of the tournament.
The program was chaired by PTYS president Nihite Akami. PTYS also extended its gratitude to the colony chairmen forum, colony GB forum, youths of all the colonies, administration and the citizens of Phek town for the success of completion of 5 year of existence.
