One day seminar was organized by Sakraba Students’ Union (SSU) on ‘Biodiversity conservation’ and ‘health and sanitation’ on August 13 at Sakraba village council hall with assistant conservation of forest, work plan division Kohima, Chisayi as the resource person on Biodiversity conservation.
In the seminar, resource person shared the importance of biodiversity conservation in village or grass root level.
He also taught about the ecological balance, stabilization of climate, aesthetic value & increase of its global temperature.
He encouraged the students with skill development, alternative employment, employable knowledge, quality education and illegal immigrants’ issue.
Later in the second session district coordinator, development association Nagaland, Ngapunyi Krocha launched the village level health programme.
The programme has chaired by vice president SSU, Hukhoto D while keynote address was delivered by president SYO, Lehu.
SSU further conveyed gratitude to the department of science & technology Nagaland for sponsoring the seminar.
